Montecatini is hiring a full-time Clinical Utilization Review Coordinator for our residential and outpatient programs. Apply your clinical skills to telephonically provide and facilitate utilization review, continued stay reviews and utilization management of all patient cases based on clinical experience and recognized guidelines. As Clinical UR Coordinator you will play an integral role within the treatment team in identifying appropriate options for the level of care that will assist the patient in achieving optimum stability of health. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to gather information regarding the patients' condition, deciding whether interventions should be implemented or stopped and determining the continued need for residential, partial hospitalization, and/or intensive outpatient treatment. You will obtain the information necessary to assess a patient's clinical condition, identify ongoing clinical care needs and ensure that patients receive services in the most optimal setting to effectively meet their needs. You will evaluate the options and services required to meet the patient's health needs, in support and collaboration with disease management interventions and in-conjunction with the patient's health plan/policy. You will consult with the Medical Director and Utilization Review Director as appropriate for all requests requiring MD approval or not meeting criteria for approval. As a therapist you will be required to maintain a presence in the milieu through direct 1:1 contact with patients. This may include facilitating up to two therapeutic groups and possibly carry a caseload of 1-2 patients. In addition to your resume, please provide a statement regarding your experience and/or desire to work within a Utilization Management department. Mandatory Skills: * Masters in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health, Marriage and Family Therapy. Must be working toward or near finished licensure hours. LPCC, MFT, LCSW/LSW preferred. * Strong leadership and clinical skills * Proficient written and inter-personal skills * Medical knowledge and eating disorder background preferred but not required This is not a remote position.
