SUMMARYThe Photo Editor works with the other members of the Boot Barn creative team to edit and organize Boot Barn's photography assets for use throughout the Company's print and digital marketing materials. Following each photo-shoot, the Photo Editor is responsible for managing the photo organization process, photo editing, and working with the Photographers and Design Manager on final image final color-correction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Perform high volume image editing (retouching, color correction, color change, removing blemishes, color matching apparel, etc.)* Manage high volume digital asset lifestyle and product images (pre/post production)* Optimize web images on all image hosting servers* Coordinate with Social Media team on pulling appropriate colors stories for the upcoming season* Review all print color proofs and oversee color-correction of final photo selects* Support the Creative Department with a variety of miscellaneous tasks* Coordinate with the Creative Director and the team members to identify photography needs* Ensure all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication* Manipulate photos to achieve highest quality using the appropriate toolsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES* This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES* Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management* Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance* Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations* Adheres to local, state and federal laws* Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management* Understands and complies with all company rules and regulationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* 1-2 years photo editing experience* Basic understanding of MS Office suite* Knowledge of Adobe Creative programs a plus* Video editing or photography background a plus* Intermediate Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom skills with minimum 3+ years experience* Ecommerce, retail and apparel background a plus* Self-driven and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment* Must have a keen eye for detail and highly organizedCOMPETENCIES:* Adaptability* Communication* Decision Making* Initiative* Innovation* Motivator* Organization* Professionalism* Results OrientatedPHYSICAL DEMANDS: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
