Overview The Cycle Counter is responsible for conducting thorough and accurate cycle counts of the inventory. The Cycle Counter analyzes the data and resolves any discrepancies in the counts. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Analyzes and resolves inventory issues, utilizing both WMS and physical counts. Research daily inventory discrepancies for root cause and recommend adjustments to process and procedures. Review inventory adjustments and transactions on a continuous basis to reconcile discrepancies and keep inventory accurate. Maintain cycle counting requirements. Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the operational organization. Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen product/locations on a daily basis. Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages and inventory discrepancies. Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures. Performs other duties, as assigned. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management. Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance. Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations. Adheres to local, state and federal laws. Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management. Understands and complies with all company rules and regulations. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 1-2 years working in a DC environment. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working with a forklift or cherry picker. Valid forklift certification required. Knowledge of UPS World Ship a plus. Knowledge of general DC procedures. Knowledge working with POS system - Aptos a plus. Able to operate all DC equipment, forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack, etc.. Ability to work flexible hours. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
