Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Phantom Works organization in El Segundo, CA is seeking ambitious electrical engineers to develop advanced analog circuits for the Electronic Products Space team which provides propulsion and avionics boxes to NASA and other customers. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA and offers a unique opportunity to work with teams working on complex technical challenges in support of next generation human space flight launch vehicles, human inhabited vehicles, and space stations. The successful candidate will interact with specialized engineering teams to develop and test advanced space avionics and propulsion systems. This position requires an individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, is comfortable interacting with diverse cultures, and has a passion for space electronics.* Performs detailed digital, analog, and power system circuit designs.* Develops designs for Man-rated Space and high space related radiation environments.* Primary duties of the team include development of space avionics and propulsion boxes with artifacts required by NASA which includes artifacts required for several design reviews and product delivery.* Develops and executes projects and process plans.* Provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.* Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.* Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.* Develops and motivates employees.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements and ability to obtain a government security clearance post-start, therefore a 'US Citizen' is required.Basic Qualifications (Required skills/experience):* Bachelor Degree from an accredited course of study in Electrical engineering is required* 15+ years of experience in digital and analog electronic circuits is required.* US Citizenship is required.Preferred Qualifications (Desired skills/experience):* Experience in Analog design for Man-rated Space and high radiation environments.* Experience with analog measurement circuits for Pressure and RTD transducers and Pyrotechnic/Ordnance systems.* Experience with written and verbal communication and leading projects, along with the ability to make decisions and deliver resultsTypical Education and Experience: Experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
