POSITION: Clinical Therapist (Full-Time Exempt)
SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm (may vary as needed)
LOCATION: Redlands / Yucaipa, CA.
DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, The Clinical Therapist provides overall clinical support for our clients, their families, and referral agents. Services include individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and guidance, and providing written documentation of all events and activities. Provide crisis intervention, clinical assessments, and monitoring for self-harm, group safety levels, and emotional readiness for events/activities following all appropriate guidelines, company policy and procedure, state regulation, and accreditation standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: Following are the qualifications required to perform the essential functions of this position. Qualifications may be subject to modification based on the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Must have a Master's degree and be a licensed marriage & family therapist (LMFT) or similar (LPCC or LCSW). 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the substance abuse and behavioral health care field. Ability to read and understand the English language. Must be able to read and follow directions and policies. Must have valid California driver's license and liability insurance if driving a personal vehicle on duty.
Vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination must be adequate for the performance of job duties. Must be able to use hands-on a consistent basis to stir, mix, whip, chop, grate, pour, cut, serve, lift and carry pots and pans to and from the serving line and food preparation area. Ability to withstand heat while working around stoves and/or ovens. Able to stand and walk most of the working day and to physically perform other job duties, including outdoor experiential activities and group sessions.. Duties may require occasional use of a stool or small ladder. Specific qualifications may vary based on the assignment.
Recovering individuals must have a minimum of two years clean, sober, and abstinent to be considered for employment.
