Position Information Job Title: SOX Compliance Senior Analyst Department: SOX Compliance FLSA Status: Exempt Reports to: SOX Compliance Supervisor Full/Part Time Status: Full-Time Work Location: Los Angeles, CA Travel Requirement: 0%-10% Education Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Minimum Years of Experience: 3+ years Combination of Experience and Education can meet the job requirements: Yes Language Requirement English: Written: Advanced Verbal: Advanced Korean: Written: N/A Verbal: N/A Computer/Systems Knowledge Requirements Microsoft Outlook: Intermediate Microsoft Word: Intermediate Microsoft Excel: Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint: Advanced Microsoft Visio: Advanced Microsoft Teams: Advanced Adobe Pro: Advanced Responsibilities & Duties * Help plan, implement, coordinate and execute all phases of SOX compliance program * Work with process owners to identify key controls establish and update SOX narratives to be current and consistent * Update documentation in the current SOX compliance software including narratives, process flowcharts, risk and controls matrix and evaluate controls as new systems are developed and/or process changes * Organize and schedule meetings with business control owners, external auditors, SOX Compliance team and outsource partners * Gather documentation for both SOX compliance team and outsource partners for SOX testing * Conduct end-to-end process walkthroughs for in scope processes to identify the key controls for SOX purposes to ensure completeness (i.e., all financial statement assertions are covered with each processes) * Perform SOX testing and ensure test results are appropriately documented and communicated * Monitor deficiencies resulting from SOX testing and the adequacy of remediation efforts * Support business / accounting process owners with their inquiries * Work on ad hoc SOX compliance projects as needed Job Qualifications/Requirements * Required: CPA or CIA * Required: 3+ years of prior work experience in Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, public accounting or internal audit * Required: Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Required: Understanding of GAAP and SOX requirements * Required: Excellent analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusion. * Preferred: Prior Banking experience Physical Demands Lifting/Carrying Under 10 lbs.: Rarely (1%-33% of the time) 11-20 lbs.: Rarely (1%-33% of the time) 21-50 lbs.: Rarely (1%-33% of the time) Pushing/Pulling Under 10 lbs.: Rarely (1%-33% of the time) 11-20 lbs.: Rarely (1%-33% of the time) 21-50 lbs.: Rarely (1%-33% of the time) Twisting/Turning Reach over shoulder: Rarely (Less than 1 hour per week) Reach over head: Rarely (Less than 1 hour per week) Reach outward: Rarely (Less than 1 hour per week) Climb: Rarely (Less than 1 hour per week) Crawl: Rarely (Less than 1 hour per week) Kneel: Rarely (Less than 1 hour per week) Squat: Rarely (Less than 1 hour per week) Sit: Constant (Over 66% of the time) Walk-Normal Surfaces: Frequent (34%-66% of time) Walk-Uneven Surfaces: Rarely (Less than 1 hour per week) Stand: Frequent (34%-66% of time) Bend: Frequent (34%-66% of time) Other Keyboard/Ten Key: Constant (Over 66% of time) Fingering (fine dexterity): Constant (Over 66% of time) Handling (grasping, holding): Constant (Over 66% of time) Repetitive Motion - Hands: Occasional (1%-33% of time) Repetitive Motion - Feet: Occasional (1%-33% of time)
