Job Description: Job Description: Bank of America is in a period of amazing evolution and growth in the design of our Financial Centers. Having recently launched a new Retail prototype, we are looking for a talented Design Manager with a background in retail or hospitality design to manage the translation of our new prototype as we open new Financial Centers and remodel our existing portfolio of unique and diverse locations. This role requires a designer who is equally adept at reviewing prototypical projects as they are driving the design of unique and high profile locations. This innovative Design Manager will be responsible for leading the design of +/-10 high profile and unique Financial Centers annually, and will provide our roll-out team the support they need when unique conditions arise within our prototypical Financial Centers. They will be responsible for ensuring the design of each Financial Center is individually considered so that we provide our clients and associates with the best possible experience, while carefully guarding our brand expression in the physical space while keeping the project on budget and delivering within timeline commitments. The Retail Design Manager must have: Strong written, oral, and drawing/diagrammatic communication skills. Possess a high level of curiosity and desire to improve his or her craft. Ability to quickly provide design direction with a high level of initiative and a demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills to move projects forward. Solid intellectual capital paired with equally strong emotional intelligence and a desire to roll up his or her sleeves to get the job done. Experience working in large, complex organizations and has the ability to drive results through influence. Quickly assess new situations and add immediate value. Exceptional ability to collaborate with key stakeholders. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: To onboard, the Retail Design Manager will help support our high volume lite scope remodel program: * Partner with an internal BAC designer to lead a team of designers who sit within one of our architectural partners as they create lite scope concept design packages for the remodel of our Financial Centers * Review all projects through concept design and spot check execution drawing packages to ensure they are accurate and provide the appropriate level of design details * Build a strong relationship with our architectural partners in order to ensure we have the right talent on our account. Get to know their teams in order to provide recommendations on how we assign projects as the work flexes and evolves * As the Retail Design Manager becomes more familiar with BAC Retail design, they will become responsible for the design of some of our unique Financial Centers: * Drive creative design concepts in-house and work with external architectural resources to execute. Projects will include entire Financial Centers, unique furniture or finish requirements, custom art installations, etc. * Identify opportunities to take a site specific approach to the design * Partner with the Merchandising Lead to ensure that all merchandising elements (static and digital marketing fixtures, artwork, and interior signage) are appropriately placed (partner in evolving these design elements as required) Required Skills * 5+ years retail or hospitality design experience Desired Skills * Degree in Interior Design or Architecture * In-depth knowledge of E2E retail design roll-out processes * Proficient in PowerPoint * Ability to hand sketch is a plus Job Band: H4 Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Weekly Schedule: Referral Bonus Amount: 0 --> Job Description: Job Description: Bank of America is in a period of amazing evolution and growth in the design of our Financial Centers.
