Job Summary: Identifies opportunities for business expansion within target customers leveraging Avnet Global Services portfolio of pre and post implementation and support services. Services business development manager will support the field sales team within a defined geographic region, develop strategic account growth plans and position high value services to achieve revenue growth targets. Principal Responsibilities: * Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Avnet Global Services including professional services, implementation services and support services. * Identifies and creates opportunity demand for products, coordinating the supporting seminars, training and resource awareness to assigned customers, and that drives growth plan success in the targeted accounts. * Develops and helps execute services based growth plans in partnership with field sales to drive additional revenue growth and to increase overall value being provided. * Remains knowledgeable to market trends related to global service delivery and any areas that should be considered for ongoing expansion of capabilities. * Collaborates with internal teams (engineering, operations and finance) to validate value of opportunity, expected margin profile and operational readiness as part of the sales process. * Maintains a pipeline of service opportunities and is able to self-manage day to day activities that contribute to advancing opportunities forward * Other duties as assigned. Job Level Specifications: * Professional Services - Change management, data migration, remote and on-site configuration and install * Advanced Exchange, RMA and Repair programs - Dispatching of parts, warranty entitlement, service level delivery requirements, failure rates, CRU's and FRU's. Extended warranty and renewals Understanding of customer support experience and various support models including call handling and issue triage through dispatch of parts and onsite field resources. * Familiarity with OEM and 3rd party warranty and support programs * Familiarity with repair or refurbishment programs * Recognizes the impact of every customer engagement and the importance to maintain any current sources of revenue * Uses common communication platforms for remote meetings, delivery of capabilities presentations and * Ability to travel up to 40% within geographic territory for client presentations and meetings. * Comfortable working Independently outside of an office and occasionally * Provides updates and weekly pipeline / forecast reports Work Experience: * Minimum experience required is typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent Education and Certification(s): * Bachelors degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
