You'll also get the opportunity to work on exciting and significant projects, delivering quality work that has a positive and lasting influence on the community and the environment. **RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS SPECIFIC ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:** - Undertake numerical analyses using first-principles methods to solve our clients' most difficult challenges - Perform and report linear and non-linear, static and dynamic structural finite element analysis, principally for structural and geo-engineering applications (e.g. earthquake, wind, and vibration analysis) - Collaborate with other structural engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and risk consultants on innovative buildings and infrastructure projects - Work on defined tasks under the close supervision of a senior engineer - Analysis, design, and communication of results to clients both internal and external to Arup **WE ENCOURAGE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE INTEREST/APTITUDE IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:** - Dynamics and seismic design, including performance-based design philosophies - Materials science and engineering - Computational Fluid Dynamics - Wind engineering and extreme environmental loading - Risk and resilience assessment and design across multiple natural hazards - Blast and impact design and analysis **NOTABLE PROJECTS** For over seven decades Arup has been at the forefront of the most ambitious and innovative design and engineering.
