JOB SUMMARY The Sr. Analyst will support the marketing department to identify business challenges and provide solutions through complex data analysis related to sales & marketing. This role will interpret results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to advanced statistical & predictive methods such as linear/logistic & multi-variate regression, A/B testing, frontier analyses or decision trees. The Sr. Analyst will also design, develop and communicate complex data analysis results to the rest of the organization in an easily digestible way and will help implement the most valuable insights for the organization. Prior experience with marketing tools and techniques such as web analytics / optimization, will be helpful. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Answer specific business questions by interpreting complex data, modeling using statistical techniques, validating results and communicating to senior management * Devise and assess procedures and methods for data collection, including opinion polls, surveys and questionnaires * Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets * Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs * Collect and analyze data regarding customer usage, preferences, etc. and help identify market potential and factors influencing product demand * Interact with users and technical team members to analyze requirements and develop technical design specifications * Troubleshoot complex issues and make recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy * Locate and define new process improvement opportunities * Employ excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively coordinate interrelated activities with coworkers, end-users, and management * Work autonomously with minimal supervision * Provide guidance and mentoring to other team members * Multitask and balance multiple assignments and priorities * Perform other duties as required (by supervisor) SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES * N/A Minimum Required Qualifications Education and/or Experience * BS in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management or related fields * College level mathematical proficiency * Proven 5 years of working experience as a business/data analyst * Healthcare experience preferred * Experience in data science, plus Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations * N/A SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES * Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy, required * Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets, required * Passion to learn and work with multiple databases and build models to perform complex analyses * Natural curiosity and motivation to dig into the details * Experience with Google analytics or other online marketing analytics tools * Additional digital marketing, eCommerce and web analytics, plus Computer Skills * Advanced Excel & strong SQL skills, required * Experience in R or Python, preferred Language Skills * English proficiency (reading, writing, verbal), required PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
