This experience enables individuals to connect our patients and communities in need to services to increase access to health care services, health benefits programs, and promote prevention and wellness; while getting the skills and exposure to the health care field. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.Member Duties : Provide capacity building support to the LifeLong AmeriCorps Health Fellow program to increase: applications received, AmeriCorps member slots filled and retained, and overall capacity. Recruitment Capacity Leader activities will aim to increase awareness of national service opportunities by: • Conduct a capacity needs assessment and develop an action plan to diagnose and address the needs • Support program staff in identifying, developing, and fostering partnerships to increase outreach to potential AmeriCorps Members • Expand community outreach efforts through presentations at colleges and career fairs; build social media presence through active posting and coordination with partner agencies • Develop marketing materials for recruitment purposes • Implement a tracking system and maintaining data • Implement strategies to keep AmeriCorps Alumni engaged in promoting national service Program Benefits : Training , Living Allowance , Stipend , Childcare assistance if eligible , Education award upon successful completion of service , Health Coverage .
