ITC Service Group ('ITC'), is seeking a Permit Coordinator who can work remotely. The Permit Coordinator researches the permitting requirements and standards for various jurisdictions. This individual will be trained to understand the permit processes as well as the requirements and time intervals for successfully submitting and gaining approval for needed permits covering the construction of new telecommunications projects with City / State R/W's. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: * Act as a point contact for permitting through various jurisdiction and/or agencies. * Collect required documentation from the different agencies. * Develop professional working relationships with local authorities have jurisdiction. * Complete and submit all permit applications and follow-up with agencies on approval progress. * Answer permit-related questions from agencies. * Evaluate permit processes and make recommendations on efficiency improvements. * Maintain knowledge of the scope for each permit as it is processed and be able to discuss with reviewing authority at their request and convenience. * Read and interpret OSP plant maps, property descriptions, blueprints, construction plans, and specifications. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * All candidates are subject to a mandatory pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical exam, and must possess and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Required Qualifications * Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with various agencies. * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent analytical skills and ability to problem solve. * Excellent oral /Written Communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent follow-up skills and record keeping. * Proficient with standard software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). * Maintain a positive, professional image. * Must be able to work independently with little supervision. * Must always possess the highest standards of integrity. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with telecommunication projects preferred. * Be familiar with right-of-way and easements. * Some knowledge of underground construction including walk-off, excavation practices, boring and restoration.
